Who we are
At DC Mindset, our main objective is to teach youth financial literacy—not just in theory, but in a way that’s tangible, empowering, and connected to real life.
Our hands-on glass art program uses the creation of rings as a vessel to deliver the deeper lesson: how to think like a business. Students learn to cut, shape, and polish glass into wearable products, but more importantly, they learn what it means to create value from start to finish.
We teach them how to calculate the cost of materials, track the time invested, and assign value to their labor. From there, they learn how to price their product, calculate profit margins, and—most importantly—how to reinvest instead of spending all their earnings.

Our students are taught not just how to make money, but how to let their money work for them. This mindset shift—seeing themselves as creators, investors, and future business owners—is the real product we’re building.
The impact is clear: youth leave our program with pride in their work, a new understanding of financial systems, and the confidence to start building generational wealth from the ground up.
